The second concert, 30. 5. Hall of the Rudolfinum, presented a repertoire of well-known and even less actually very local. There were three tonadillas, short dramatic sketches, which usually form intermezzo, Madrid dominated theaters during the Enlightenment. The author was a master of the genre, Blas de Laserna (1751-1816), whose songs of the evening added a few more sentences from Vicente instrumental Bassett (1748-1762). Lasernovy tonadillas are notable for their high and low mixing style while Spanish and Italian elements. The result is an original, almost pololidové theater, reminiscent of both vaudeville and early Singspiel Central European and Italian opera buffa. Durability and attractiveness tonadillas however, is acting primarily on the implementation and timeliness comic, sometimes downright satirical content for multilayer communication between artists and audience forming one community. This in a foreign environment, natural barrier partially reduced as translations in the program, and especially their own productions of artists poloscénickým. (Light reduction, especially in the second tonadille was not due to these circumstances detrimental things.)
The biggest recognition it deserves Ruth Iniesta , who with unflagging energy "handles" all three tonadillas, and its breakdown, but still pleasant soprano voice and comic verve filled the entire Rudolfinum. The first and third were tonadilla solo singer turned first in ancient and modern subsequently Hispania - in both cases constitute the majority of the content of the criticism of contemporary manners. In the second tonadille classic scene, unmarried lovers p?istižených father of the girl, they performed well baritone Sebastia Peris and tenor Juan Manuel Padrón , with a very characteristic and comic role barber fitting timbre. Although the instrumental accompaniment was stylish, but after one player violin against a pair of horns were in the constellation personnel and simplicity of the musical score, not the best choice. Convincing effect were rather in slow movements, in particular combinations classicist flute guitar created impressive and unexpected atmosphere. The overall performance of the ensemble left the festival audience rather less impressed, but the concert brought in the country otherwise unattainable experience and familiarity with remarkable aspect of Spanish musical culture.
