REMA grows significantly and takes a new direction!

The European Early Music Network - Réseau Européen de Musique Ancienne is the only network active in the Early Music field at European level. Until recently, it was a network of concert promoters. However, to achieve the network’s goals of promoting a common and diverse musical and cultural heritage, advocating for the sector, and supporting its transition towards sustainability and engagement, REMA members have taken the historic decision to open the membership to new categories of Early Music professionals, to represent the full spectrum of the field and provide all with an organic forum to meet, exchange, and shape the future together.

We are proud to introduce the first ensembles and institutions to join REMA for a crucial trial year.

REMA was created in 2000 in Ambronay and has since grown to represent 122 organisations in 22 European countries. Based in Versailles, it is supported by the European Commission, in the frame of the Creative Europe programme and by the French Culture Ministry.
